About the Author



Diana M. Hawkins grew up in Zimbabwe. As an adult, she moved to the United States, where she attended college and pursued a career as a journalist and environmental writer. Her short stories were published in Mansovo: Tales and Trails, an anthology illustrated by world famous wildlife artist Craig Bone. Shadows along the Zambezi is her first novel, and an exciting sequel is currently well underway. She has also published a children's picture book entitled, Lumpy the Elephant, and Mom's Cat Stories, a short biography of eleven treasured kitties who shared their lives with her.
